A Bit About Me
I’ve always believed that healthcare starts from within. That belief has shaped not just how I live, but how I lead, coach, and support others. With a background in biology and over 20 years as a Human Resources professional, my work has always centered around one thing: empowering people to take ownership of their health, their choices, and their work life.
My approach is rooted in truth, empathy, and accountability. I don’t show up to fix people—I show up to walk with them, to create space for real conversations, and to offer tools that help them build a strong foundation, mentally and physically.
From pioneering the role of Wellness Manager before it became mainstream, to delivering mental health workshops for hundreds of leaders, I’ve seen firsthand how a simple shift in mindset can reduce burnout, build trust, and bring people back to themselves. As an instructor at Simon Fraser University, I get to share that knowledge with the next generation of HR leaders—because this work matters.
Outside of work, I train with my sons. Fourteen years ago, we started lifting weights together, and it’s become part of our bond and our business. As a certified personal trainer, I don’t just talk about strength—I live it, and I teach it as a way to support mental health and resilience.
Whether I’m coaching a new leader, building out a workplace wellness strategy, or guiding someone through a tough decision, I bring the same energy: grounded, honest, and focused on what's real.
Because real life is messy. But with the right support, it can also be powerful.
